Joining a team is one of the easiest ways to feel more connected to the Freedom Vineyard community. We have opportunities for you - whatever your personality, skills, or experience; and many people serve once a month. Read about our teams and then fill in form below to find out more or to sign up.
Welcome Team
A critical part of helping Freedom Vineyard’s growth - you could be the very first person our new guests meet! So if you love making people feel valued and at ease then we’d love to have you join the team.
Hospitality
The Hospitality team help create warmth to our welcome for new guests and long-standing members of the community with fresh tea and coffee and tasty treats both on a Sunday and for larger events. A great way to serve God in important, practical ways.
Set up & set down
The set-up and set-down team are the troopers who arrive early on Sunday mornings to create an enviroment where people can worship God and meet with Him. We have a great team spirit and make serving together fun!
Audio Visual Team
The AV team are the silent heroes who make Sunday meetings run super smoothly: With comfortable volume levels, well mixed sound and well timed slides - this ensures the focus is on God. We can train people from scratch - so no experience necessary.
Kid’s Ministry Team
We absolutely love the opportunity to equip and encourage our church family kids. The Holy Spirit works so powerfully through them and we want to see more. If you’ve been at Freedom Vineyard for 6 months or more then we’d love to talk to you if you’re interested in becoming a leader or helper. Please be aware that we will need to DBS check you before you can serve in this area.
Youth Ministry Team
We have a vision for raising up a group of young people on fire and courageous for Jesus: Changing lives and the atmosphere at their schools and colleges. If you’ve been at Freedom Vineyard for 6 months or more then we’d love to talk to you if you’re interested in becoming a leader or helper. Please be aware that we will need to DBS check you before you can serve in this area.
Worship Team
Worship has a high value at Freedom Vineyard. As a team, we create times of musical worship that are accessible and honour God - helping people intimately worship God and enter into His presence. Please talk to us if you’re interested in joining.
Small Groups
Freedom Vineyard is a church of small groups - not a church with small groups. This is where you can get to know others and also be known, trusted and loved. If you’ve been a member of a small group for 6 months and are interested in leading then please talk to us!
Social & Connection
Our excellent Social & Connection team do fabulous work to make Freedom Vineyard accessible to new people by organising a host of events that foster new friendship and connection. This is a fun team to serve on for sure!
